Where to commission a monograph
Monograph services · Checked on 5 October 2026
Five services for preparing an academic manuscript: published prices, delivery times, working arrangements and questions to ask before paying.
Partner comparison. Dissertatsia.ru holds first place as a partner placement. The order is not a measured assessment of completed work; we have not placed test orders.
The services compared here operate in Russian. Prices are in Russian roubles (RUB), not local currency. Confirm the manuscript language, available payment methods and publishing arrangements directly with the provider.
The offers may cover different amounts of work. A published price is a starting reference, not a quote for every project. Ask separately about editing, reviews, typesetting and printing.
The five options in detail
1

HomeWork
Manuscript preparation through a managed service

5
Avtor24
Selecting and comparing individual experts
On Avtor24, the final price follows the posting of the task and the choice of an expert. Its low advertised starting figure does not fix the price of a complete manuscript. This model suits someone prepared to compare candidates and agree on the details directly.
Useful features
You can discuss the task with different candidates.
Terms can be agreed for the particular project.
What to clarify
Check the selected expert's experience with academic books.
Agree on chapter delivery, revisions and dispute handling.
Published conditions on the provider's service page: Avtor24.
Choose by the work you actually need
An almost complete book needing proofreading is a different assignment from a manuscript that still needs a structure. Prepare one brief and send the same material when comparing quotes. If you want a managed process, ask for chapter milestones; if you choose a marketplace, assess the individual expert as well as the platform.
Before making a payment
Write down the subject, discipline, length, existing material and intended result.
Specify the cost of tables, illustrations, references, proofreading and the abstract.
Agree on the plan, chapter milestones and time for your own review.
Separate corrections to the agreed brief from newly requested work.
Check data, calculations, references and conclusions; an originality score does not establish accuracy.
Clarify confidentiality, rights to the result and the separate cost of publication.
How this comparison was prepared
We compared the publicly described price, time frame, delivery model and approval process on five dedicated monograph pages. Dissertatsia.ru is first under a partner placement. The other entries present alternatives with different working arrangements. We did not use customer counts, star scores or testimonials to rank them, and have not independently verified the delivery of each advertised promise.
